It just feels good to walk into Mike's Foodland. When those double doors slide open, looking straight ahead, I see people busy helping people. While at the same time I'll mutter, "Something smells good!"...so I'm inclined to make for the deli, hoping they haven't sold the last of their chicken pot pies.
Small town market . Prices fair . And the owner very nice and will go out of his way to make sure your taken care of.
The very BEST grocery store for miles. Plenty of options, good prices, great sales. Probably the best quality meat in the area too. Nice owner, good employees. Clean and maintained. Kind of wish the parking was bigger/better.
Nice country store. Makes good plate lunches. Mike us like family, and staff always go out of their way to make you happy. Haven't lived close for years, but always stop in to see what fresh local goodies they have.
The employees are always friendly and helpful. Great prices. Good selection of items and if there is something you need that isn't there, just request that they start carrying it.
